Beginner. More between stick figure and beginner, but I chose beginner. I'd honestly like to draw more and I feel like I can draw something cool if I actually put effort into it but at the age of 26 I don't know if I can still learn new tricks. :/
To be honest, even though I chose Beginner, I'm somewhere in the middle between Stick Figure and Beginner. At my best, I can draw something a 6 Year Old who only has a somewhat big interest in drawing can at their most mediocre.
I would still rank myself as a beginner given the quality of art I see now a days, especially compared to someone like yourself. But I am taking art classes in college primarily and I've learned a great deal, but the road is not a fast one to learn. I'd honestly would be happy just selling commissions when I feel I could get my art to a respectable level that I'd give it a dollar value.
Right now I wouldn't charge anything for the things I've drawn. Maybe some of my sculpture/3d things cause they're pretty nice but nothing else.
I would like to at least try to get some commissions, at the very least. I don't want to go into it too much, but basically I do draw what I want most times and I still don't have enough interest from others to keep me motivated to not just blow everything off just to go do other things.
I see, I'm approaching this as a hobby. I think we had a failure to communicate ^^'
As for making money, ya I'm hopeless in that field as well, I make far more money off of other kinds of work and its honestly pretty hard for me to ever see myself becoming a full time artist. Hobbyist is as far as I'll ever get.
