I feel confident in my abilities as an artist. I've literally been doing it since I was three, so it's an important part of who I am and what I do.

Now, I'm still pretty green in terms of what I can be capable of. But a lot of people have told me I'm really good at drawing, so that helps my confidence.

Not even close to being a beginner. I wish I have the patient to learn. :(

Of course, I realize that if I actually found the time to _practice_ on a regular basis, I'd probably have crawled my way up to intermediate level by now...

Beginner. More between stick figure and beginner, but I chose beginner. I'd honestly like to draw more and I feel like I can draw something cool if I actually put effort into it but at the age of 26 I don't know if I can still learn new tricks. :/

Definitely intermediate! I can teach some things but overall I'm still learning as I go. I'm always learning

Between School, Job, and Life, I'm still trying to learn. :x

Honestly I just wish I had more time to devote to it because I love it but I'm shit.

Taking into account that my style is on the cartoony side, I'd still lean toward intermediate.

One drawing class in Highschool because I needed a Fine-Arts credit. So, just barely a beginner.

Still at the stick figure level, especially when drawing digitally. I used to love drawing as a kid, but eventually lost confidence in myself.

I just got a drawing tablet a few months ago, because I've been inspired by some great artists here on DA. Haven't done much with it yet, but I plan to give it a shot again.

Whenever I try to draw for fun, I give up because it looks bad, but when I have to do it for school, I have the best in the class. I never taken any art classes though.

To be honest, even though I chose Beginner, I'm somewhere in the middle between Stick Figure and Beginner. At my best, I can draw something a 6 Year Old who only has a somewhat big interest in drawing can at their most mediocre.

I guess it more or so depends on the person looking at my art. To me, I'm a beginning, and I don't entirely know what I'm doing when I draw.

Intermediate.  I've been drawing for a very healthy chunk of my life.  Taken numerous art classes, as well.  But it's also a frustrating exercise for me and I have a lot of areas I still need to learn.

Completely new to digital art.

Been an artist myself for a while now (3 years) and I'd say I've still got much to improve on but I'm pretty good where I'm at now.

I would still rank myself as a beginner given the quality of art I see now a days, especially compared to someone like yourself. But I am taking art classes in college primarily and I've learned a great deal, but the road is not a fast one to learn. I'd honestly would be happy just selling commissions when I feel I could get my art to a respectable level that I'd give it a dollar value.

Right now I wouldn't charge anything for the things I've drawn. Maybe some of my sculpture/3d things cause they're pretty nice but nothing else.

Well, when you do art for long enough, you tend to lose motivation to keep going when it feels like all your friends don't want you to be doing it.

You are worrying too much about what others think, if it is what you want to do, go for it.

I would like to at least try to get some commissions, at the very least. I don't want to go into it too much, but basically I do draw what I want most times and I still don't have enough interest from others to keep me motivated to not just blow everything off just to go do other things.

I see, I'm approaching this as a hobby. I think we had a failure to communicate ^^'

As for making money, ya I'm hopeless in that field as well, I make far more money off of other kinds of work and its honestly pretty hard for me to ever see myself becoming a full time artist. Hobbyist is as far as I'll ever get.
