of all the game I have have only have beaten the campaign in my FSF's with the exception of Sponge Bob Square Pants the Movie Game and Super Smash Bros Brawl, anything else not really, the game either stopped working or i'm too into another usually better game to play it so yea
Most of the time I play a game until I get bored / another game attracts me more. It has taken me 6 periods and 3 years to complete FFX, 5 periods and 1,5 years for TES V: Skyrim, for example. I do complete every game I purchase, unless it is absolutely horrible/repeating(Mass Effect imo, not my game, and Pokemon Conquest because after the story the only thing you do is repeating the same campaign)
I usually dedicate an immense amount of time to completing a game. It only took me a few days to complete Dragonball Xenoverse's main story and two days to finish Kid Icarus Uprising. The point is if it interests me enough, and the story is gripping enough, I will finish it earlier than most 100%!
If it's fun and engaging then i'll finish. Though with work and life it's getting harder to finish games, especially cause i like RPGs and those are usually pretty lengthy. So i have a few unbeaten ones.
I always try to finish it. Unfortunately, I'm just not a very good gamer so I have a poor track record of actually making it. Like, one day if I'm very lucky, I'll maybe get to the Mother Brain section of Metroid. Or get to a fight with Dr. Wily or Bowser/King Koopa, that sort of thing.
Most of the time I don't. I play a metric shit ton of games. For most I get a general feel for the game and how the mechanics work on a high concept level then move on to the next one. Games I continue to play are games that I enjoy playing. Games I finish I really like.
i finish what i have time for i have been playing paper Mario thousand year door for almost a year now because of how long it takes to get to another save point and me not having the required time but i do try to finish what i buy if the game is worth it i want to finish yoshi wooly world but i don't want to finish sonic boom rise of lyric
I tend to finish most games I buy, when I was younger I got games as gifts from older relatives who honestly had no clue what games I even liked so they'd buy those games you'd see at a kinney drugs store on the 3 dollar rack and I don't ever touch those. I thanked them and really appreciated the thought but I just can't bring myself to play a game that I have no prior knowledge of
Games I've beaten? Dying Light on Normal and Hard, Blue Dragon ( I didn't reach max level cuz that would take like an eternity ) and Fable 2 and 3 ( Fable 2 was my first game evar beaten ). I think I am missing some, but I might never remember
Depends on the title I usually leave some games unfinished these days, I just don't get as much time as use to unless its a really solid one then I usually do some large binging sessions (instead of well... sleeping). Otherwise it gets backlogged and never sees the light of day.
Depends on your definition of "beat." I'll 100% a game sometimes, but only if it's worth it, say, it unlocks some sort of "true ending" or "real final boss." With most games I just go for the goal (so in other words, say I were playing Mario Galaxy, I'd defeat the final boss, but I wouldn't go for all 120 stars in the game). The difficulty and my overall enjoyment of the game also weighs a factor. If the game is slow and tedious, I'll play until I tire of it. Though most games I pick up I do enjoy quite a bit (because I know what I like in a video game and so I know how to find video games I like) and wind up beating.
